The 12 day “India Wildlife Photography Tourâ€, will let you explore 3 best national parks in India for a perfect wildlife photography vacation. The trip will take you to Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Gir Forest National Park, which will allow you to click some amazing photographs of 2 big cats - the Royal Bengal Tigers, and Asiatic Lions. Trip includes accommodation, safaris, meals, and transfers.

Itinerary
Day 1Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai International Airport, BookWildlifeSafari adventure representative will welcome you and assist you for a smooth transfer to your hotel in Mumbai. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2Day 2: At Mumbai (Mumbai & Elephanta Island Sightseeing)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Mumbai ‘The City that Never Sleeps’. The first spot is at Mumbai harbor where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island, explore the heritage site famous for the ancient caves - which were used during 5th century BC. Later in the afternoon, take a ferry back to the land. After lunch at any restaurant, you will be taken to Gateway of India for photoshoot and sightseeing. Later, you will be taken to Prince of Wales Museum. You can find interesting artifacts of Indus Valley civilization here. Later visit Mani Bhavan, a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. Evening is free for shopping, you will be taken along busy lanes filled with shops and other attractions. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3Day 3: Mumbai/Rajkot (By Flight) - Gir National Park (140 Km - 3.30 Hours Drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to Mumbai Airport to board a flight to Rajkot. Upon arrival at Rajkot Airport, our local representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Gir National Park.
Upon arrival check-in at the resort. Rest of the day at leisure, or indulge yourself in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, enjoying the lush greenery around, interacting with the park's naturalist and so on. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 4Day 4: At Gir Forest National Park
Start your day with a heart-pounding adventure as you embark on an early morning jeep safari within Gir National Park. As the sun rises, the park comes to life with a symphony of sounds from its diverse inhabitants. Keep your camera ready to capture glimpses of majestic Asiatic lions, elusive leopards, and a variety of other wildlife species that call this sanctuary home. Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll traverse through rugged terrains and dense foliage, gaining insight into the park's unique ecosystem and the efforts taken for its conservation.
Lunch will be arranged at the resort. Later in the afternoon, gear up for another thrilling jeep safari that delves deeper into Gir National Park's wilderness. This session offers a chance to spot different wildlife behaviors and interactions as the day begins to transition into twilight. Your skilled guides will share their expertise, enhancing your understanding of the park's delicate ecosystem and the significance of its inhabitants.
Witnessing the majestic Asiatic lions, the park's crowning glory, in their natural habitat is a rare and awe-inspiring experience. Besides lions, keep an eye out for leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, sambar deer, spotted deer, wild boars, and a rich avian population that completes the park's diverse tapestry. Dinner and Overnight at the resort.
Day 5Day 5: At Gir Forest National Park
Enjoy 2 round of jeep safari's under the guide of our professional local wildlife naturalist. First safari early in the morning, and another round later in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort in Gir Forest National Park.
Day 6Day 6: Gir/Rajkot - Jabalpur (By Flight via Mumbai) - Bandhavgarh (170 kms/4 hrs drive))
Post breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Rajkot Airport to board 1 stop flight o Jabalpur via Mumbai.
Upon arrival at Jabalpur airport, our local representative will meet you and transfer you to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rewa. Upon arrival check-in at the resort.
Rest of the day at leisure or indulge yourself in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, enjoying the lush greenery around, interacting with the park's naturalist and so on. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 7Day 7: At Bandhavgarh National Park
Get ready for Bandhavgarh photography adventure today, as you will enjoy 2 jeep safari's first early in the morning and another one later in the afternoon. During you safari our professional local wildlife naturalist will accompany you, and take you to the places where you will get maximum chances to spot Royal Bengal Tiger and other wildlife species in their natural habitat.
Bandhavgarh national park is known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. Also visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, located inside the park. Bandhavgarh Fort is placed on a hill, this fort is around 811 meters above the sea level. It is believed that this fort is 2000-years old. The fort has a total of 39 caves. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 8Day 8: At Bandhavgarh National Park

Day 9Day 9: Bandhavgarh / Kanha National Park (250 km/6 hrs drive)
After breakfast at the resort, leave for Kanha National Park - one of the most well-maintained national parks in Asia. This park was an inspiration behind the popular novel by Rudyard Kipling - The Jungle Book. Spread in 940 sq. km of land, this national park has Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, leopards, and barasingha in good numbers. Upon arrival at the national park, check-in at the resort. Rest of the day at leisure, indulge yourself in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, enjoying the lush greenery around, interacting with the park's naturalist and so on. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 10Day 10: At Kanha National Park
Enjoy early morning and afternoon jeep safari's inside the Kanha National Park. Explore the exotic variety of the park, also enjoy the verdant flora that is spread around. Kanha is known for housing more than 1000 species of flowering plants. During wildlife viewing, you can spot varied animals and birds like, Royal Bengal Tiger, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, sambar, gaur, peafowl, mongoose, leopard, python, spurfowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, green pigeons and so on. Also visit the Bamni Dadar or the Sunset Point, a major attraction inside the park. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 11Day 11: Kanha/Jabalpur (160 kms/3.30 hrs drive) - Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast at the resort, our representative will transfer you to the Jabalpur airport to board the flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12Day 12: Departure from Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the Mumbai airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.
